How to configure a videowall?

A videowall is great for gaining attention and spreading your message across multiple displays! Having the devices connected to your account is one thing but configuring them as a videowall is something else. In this blog, we will explain how to do this.

To configure a videowall, you have to put all the devices you want on the wall in one device group. Next up is to click on the VWL Layout Manage, Settings, and New. A new window will pop up where you have to fill in the way your displays are orientated. Once this is done, the displays will show numbers that you will have to fill into MagicINFO. After this process, you can go to the second step, spread a pattern across the displays, and confirm the setup.

Creating content for a videowall is different than your useful way of scheduling content. This has to be done in the Web Author. With the use of videowall you cannot make use of the playlist option on the left-hand side. If you want to create a playlist, you have to make this in the Web Author. Here you can create the entire playlist as an LFD file which you can schedule again and send live.
